Trisara: Thai hospitality at its best

Trisara

We recently received this review of Trisara in Phuket, Thailand from one of our guests, it gives a great first person look at a weekend at the beachfront resort.

“The Trisara resort truly lets you experience Thai hospitality at its best”

The location of the beachfront resort is enough to take your breath away and if that’s not enough then add on the enthusiasm of the staff when they greet you with smiles that touch even the most winter-frosted heart.

Many resorts claim to be five stars but Trisara truly earns it and then one extra “Elite Star” for successfully balancing the trinity of location, quality and hospitality.

On arrival the front reception staff took our passports and much to our astonishment, less than 2 minutes later told us that the staff were ready to give us a quick tour around the resort and then take us to our villa. A refreshing change from other resorts who keep you waiting when you first arrive.

The tour included the whereabouts of the library, business center, restaurant, beachfront pool and water activities. Five minutes later we were on our way to our villa.

The first thing we noticed was the outdoor area with a pool big enough to fit an entire family. Perfectly located, facing the Andaman Ocean, with total and absolute privacy.

The villa was big and spacious containing a private desk and entertaining area. Allowing you to stay connected with work while others relax in front of the TV watching movies from their DVD collection.

The state-of-the-art bathroom was carefully designed to give sufficient room for your privacy with his and hers sink, a dressing table and a spacious bath tub with a sensual window overlooking the bedroom all the way out to the pool. The indoor shower was nice but the outdoor shower gave a more nature feeling of freedom under the sky.

Since we arrived so late to the resort it was only normal for us to sleep in a little bit longer in the morning, a leisure that normally makes you miss the most important meal of the day. However the Trisara once again proves their hospitality with breakfastbeing served at any time you wish during the day, either at the ocean view restaurant or in the privacy of your villa.

The a la cart menu was mouth-watering and it’s one of the rare moments when your wine and dine sessions becomes so much more, going beyond the “delicious” and forward into the “extraordinary leisure of pleasure”.

The man behind the creation of the menu was not an ordinary chief, but an artist, a Michelangelo in the kitchen.

The beach front common pool gave an excellent choice for those who prefer to swim in the pool but still would like to enjoy the ambiance of the world famous beaches of Thailand, a wide selection of water sport equipment provided by the resort kept us busy most of the day.

Since we only stayed there for one weekend we decided to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the resort but next time we will definitely take one of their private boat tours. A wide selection of boat types such as speedboats, sun seekers, princess and overnight yachts were all there waiting to take you out on the Andaman Sea,cruising between the islands.

No matter what I do or where the future will take me, one thing is for sure, I will return again to experience the trinity of Trisara. Thank you Elite Resorts of Asia Pacific.
